The True Reality of Doublelist
I'll start off by telling you that I got dumped by my last girlfriend, after she thought my career choice of working at Mcdonalds wasn't good enough. Anyways after that I didn't really want anything too serious right off the bat—I just needed something casual, you know? A buddy of mine mentioned Doublelist to me as a decent place to find a casual hook-up, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
At first, Doublelist seemed great. There were tons of ads, and it felt like there were always new postings popping up. I spent a lot of time browsing around, browsing ads, and sending messages to people. I sent dozens of messages over the course of a few weeks. I'd say hi, try to be friendly but respectful, and see if anyone wanted anything.
But here's the thing: not a single one of those messages ever actually turned into a legitimate meeting. Some women would reply, but it would usually be either brief or the conversation would simply fizzle. Other times, I'd receive responses that were a little fishy, such as spammers or automated responses. It seemed like I was barking up the wrong tree. I wasn't getting closer at all to what I was actually looking for—spending time with someone in person.
It's when I found W4M Maps. I figured I'd give it a shot, and boy, it changed everything. The greatest thing was the map feature where you could interact. Instead of going through page after page of listings, I could actually bring up a map of my area on my cell phone and find out where women were available in my area. It made everything so much easier and more available. I felt like I wasn't just sending messages into space.
With W4M Maps, I started getting actual results. I actually did end up hooking up with some girls, and everything was smooth sailing. It was simpler and much less frustrating than Doublelist was. I really enjoyed being able to sift through women who were actually in my area and willing to hook up.
Overall, if you're looking for something casual and don't want to waste a lot of time messaging with nothing to show for it, I'd strongly recommend W4M Maps over Doublelist. It just worked better for me, plain and simple. I'm glad I made the switch.
